When you meet the two men behind L.A. based real estate company, Tanner & White, there is an instant feeling of optimism, integrity and intellectual freedom.  Blair Tanner and Joshua White met while studying towards their Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from the School of Policy, Planning & Development at USC. Mutually committed to a high-level of design, sense of style and architectural significance, Tanner & White specializes in developing vital land parcels into urban properties. Through innovative planning and progressive concepts, the company is recognized as an emerging leader in developing multi-family residential and mixed-use projects.

Metropol (www.metropolhollywood.com) is the latest project that went on the market in late August featuring 41-units with nature or iconic city views, a state of the art gym, a library lounge holding coffee table books and outdoor terraces that bring light into the belly of the project. White explains, “We have a deep-felt commitment to building extraordinary urban homes that are a fusion of architecture, inspired lifestyle amenities and a vital sense of community.” They embrace modernism in their developments, but in a manner that is warm,       inviting and organic. “Focus on green building and sustainability marks the current trend in real estate,” says Tanner, “but our goal is to figure out how to integrate health and wellness into one’s physical environment.” Their path in becoming industry leaders in sustainability/green developments lends the motivation for Cherokee to include electrical stations at individual parking stalls, use of non-toxic building materials, an organic herb garden for tenants and maximized natural light     throughout the units. Their past project — 7917 Willoughby — was  well-received by the international architectural community and appeared in many magazines as an architect feature.
